Our Story

Built on deep industry experience, not generalist frameworks.

iLogBC is a specialist advisory firm founded on the belief that the logistics industry needs advisors who have spent their careers inside it, with a deep understanding of how businesses actually operate. We exist to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. The sector's most consequential decisions, such as structuring a port concession, pricing a logistics acquisition, redesigning a supply chain for the Dedicated Freight Corridor era, or evaluating an international company's India entry strategy, require that depth, not generic advice.

We advise the full stakeholder map, starting from ports and terminals, freight forwarders, shipping lines and NVOCCs, 3PLs and 4PLs, manufacturers, e‑commerce operators, logistics technology companies, infrastructure developers, and the investors and global companies deploying capital into the sector.

We work exclusively in shipping, logistics, supply chain, infrastructure, and the technology platforms that serve these sectors. Our advisory is grounded in operational and commercial reality, complementing the depth our clients' decisions require, a depth that only comes from working in this industry, and no other.

Every engagement is driven by integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to turning complex challenges into sustainable business outcomes. We measure our success the same way: by the value we create for our clients.

Shipping and logistics operations
Our focus

Shipping, logistics, infrastructure, supply chain and the technology platforms transforming these industries.

What Defines Us

Specialist by design. Senior-led by principle.

What We Are

A specialist boutique advisory firm

Deep, operator‑level specialisation in shipping, logistics, supply chain, and infrastructure. Advising operators, investors, and global companies entering India across the full stakeholder map, from ports to freight forwarders to the funds financing them.

What We Are Not

Not a generalist consultancy

We do not list logistics as one of many industry practices. Every engagement we accept sits within a sector our team has worked in directly.

How We Work

Small teams, senior‑led, start to finish

The advisor in your first conversation is the advisor doing the work. Engagements aren't handed off to a large delivery team once the contract is signed. Senior involvement continues from scoping through to outcome.

How We Think

Three principles behind every recommendation

Every advisory firm has a methodology. What actually shapes the advice you receive is the philosophy behind it — which questions get asked, which trade‑offs get named, and what success is measured against. Three principles run through every engagement we take on, whether the mandate is a transaction, an operational turnaround, an infrastructure investment, or a market entry.

Governance

Good governance isn't a compliance checkbox, it's the structural foundation that lets a logistics business make consistent decisions and stay accountable for the outcomes. We bring a governance lens to every engagement, testing whether reporting lines, board composition, and decision rights are built for sustainable performance rather than any single stakeholder's convenience. In a sector where ownership transitions, joint ventures, and PE investment routinely create governance complexity, that lens is what keeps a business governable under commercial pressure.

Profitability Focus

Revenue growth without margin improvement isn't success, it's a deferred reckoning. Indian logistics businesses have a long history of chasing top line on thin or negative‑margin wins, betting that scale will eventually fix profitability. It usually doesn't, because the cost structure behind unprofitable growth gets embedded before the pricing discipline that would fix it does. We test every commercial recommendation against its margin impact, not just its revenue contribution.

Systems Thinking

Logistics businesses are systems: networks of interdependent assets, relationships, regulatory obligations, and processes, where a change in one element creates consequences elsewhere that aren't immediately visible. Win a customer on aggressive pricing, and warehouse utilisation, driver scheduling, and maintenance cycles all move with it. Shift freight from road to rail, and packaging specs, lead‑time variability, and customer terms move too. We trace these interdependencies as a matter of discipline, because the recommendations that miss them are the ones that create new problems six months after the engagement closes.

Meet the Team

Our team pairs decades of industry experience inside shipping, logistics, and supply chain with the transaction, technology, and governance expertise today's mandates demand. Every advisor on this page has worked inside this industry, not adjacent to it, which is what lets us translate operational reality into decisions that hold up under scrutiny.
